Homework Help

At Gaines Elementary, students don’t have to tackle homework alone. Through our partnership with Think Together, we provide free before- and after-school support that helps children build confidence, finish assignments, and grow academically — all in a safe, fun environment. 

Who Can Join 

  • Open to TK through 5th grade students at Gaines Elementary 
  • Before School: 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. 
  • After School: From dismissal until 6:00 p.m. 

What Students Receive 

  • Homework Help: Caring staff provide support so students can understand and complete assignments. 
  • Academic Support: Small-group activities build skills in reading, writing, and math. 
  • Enrichment & Fun: Hands-on STEM projects, art, physical activity, and games give students a chance to learn and play. 
  • Snacks: Healthy snacks are provided daily during the after-school program. 

Cost 

The program is free for all families. 

How to Enroll 
  • Fill out a Think Together registration form. 
  • Return it to the program staff or the school office. 
  • A site coordinator will contact families to confirm enrollment.
